75-year-old Terry Lauerman knows this, and he consistently makes a beeline for his nearby sanctuary for catnaps. Staff at Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary in Green Bay, Wisconsin, said that he came in wielding a brush one day, and inquired as to whether he could prepare the felines. "He just strolled in and began brushing," author of the sanctuary Elizabeth Feldhausen told HuffPost. "So in the long run we revealed to him he was an official volunteer and had him round out our volunteer frame."
Terry visits the sanctuary day by day, remaining for around 3 hours a period.
He brushes the felines previously resting off for a snooze with them, before awakening and rehashing the procedure. The experience is a commonly useful one, and has had sweeping impacts for the sanctuary. After they chose to devote a Facebook post to Terry and his lovable charitable effort, it rapidly turned into a web sensation. The subsequent attention has seen gifts flooding in, giving assets to the safe house to proceed with their imperative work for quite a while to come.
"Our gifts have expanded!" Elizabeth disclosed. "Typically, we'd make between $3,000-$4,000 every month. This week, we have come to $30,000! This is stunning on the grounds that we do depend entirely on gift!"
